La notizia di giornata nel mondo del wrestling è sicuramente l’approdo di Paul Wight – al secolo Big Show – dalla WWE alla AEW. Dopo una lunghissima militanza nella federazione di Vince McMahon (in cui lottava dal 1999), Big Show aveva visto spirare il suo contratto con la WWE e, nonostante le ultime apparizione relativamente recenti (in un match contro Drew McIntyre nel Raw post Wrestlemania 36 e prima, durante e dopo l’Ambulance match tra lo stesso scozzese e Randy Orton) non si è mai arrivati a un accordo nuovo tra le parti. Big Show dunque “torna” Paul Wight e sarà parte del roster AEW, momentaneamente come commentatore ma quasi certamente anche come lottatore. Ovviamente la notizia ha generato grandissime reazioni social, non solo tra gli appassionati ma anche tra i tanti addetti ai lavori.

Non si è fatta attendere anche la reazione di Austin Gunn, lottatore AEW e figlio dell’ex WWE Billy Gunn, che con Paul Wight evidentemente ha un rapporto antico per via del mestiere dei due veterani:
